| 1 | Bandi’s Boy | Consistent galloper who rose to another level with G3 victory at Rosehill over 1200m on 30 March. Has only been unplaced twice in 10 runs and loves this track with three wins and two thirds from six races. Can win again. |
| 2 | Bianco Vilano | Hasn’t measured up at a much high level and will appreciate this grade of race. Has finished first and second at last two runs and will like the rise to 1400m after his last outing over 1175m. Worth consideration. |
| 3 | Russley Crown | Last start 1400m Tamworth winner. Has been consistent in weaker races and will need to show improvement to match it with the more fancied runners but likes the 1400m. |
| 4 | Auzstar | Led to win over 1400m at Tuncurry by 5.09L on heavy track at last start in February. A chance if strikes a track to suit. |

| 6 | That’s Molly | Came from well back in the field to win over 1400m by 0.81L at big odds at last start. Is best on soft tracks, but would need similar conditions to be considered. |
| 7 | Tribeca Star | Likes the 1400m trip and will again get back but has a strong finish. Finished second at last start over 1400m at Eagle Farm, beaten 1.16L. Expect improvement. |
| 8 | Rainbow Connection | Yet to win over the distance, but has been placed four times. His last three have been at 1400m. He finished five of seven beaten 4.12L at Eagle Farm at most recent rum but was consistent before that. |
| 9 | Sharp Shock | Has finished second at past three runs, and was only 0.81L off the winner That’s Molly in a race over 1400m when stormed home from last. Good form for this at odds. |
| 10 | Gallant Star | Ultra-consistent galloper who is never far away. Good record of three wins, three seconds and three thirds from 10 races. Beaten 0.05L favorite last start when working home strongly over 1400m. Big show. |
| 11 | Associate | Highly fancied when came from last to win at Goulburn (1400m) by 1.06L at most recent start. This race is tougher but needs only a little improvement to be competitive. |
| 12 | Atmospheric Rock | Has been kept fresh for this after finishing second, beaten 0.5L, over 1400m on 3 March. Has since had an 800m trial. Has ability and a forward showing wouldn’t surprise. |
| 13 | Asgarda | Has been okay in lower-level races. This is the mare’s first run at a metropolitan track. Has been fancied at past three runs, including latest when 1.82L third at 1175m. Tough task. |
| 14 | Rapbidash | Lightly raced mare with three wins from seven starts. Was good at last start when 1.82L second at Tamworth over 1400m. This is much tougher. |
| 15 | Musical Affair | Front-runner who won last start at Orange over 1410m. It was the mare’s second win in this year. Would need the race to be run to suit to be a viable chance. |
| 16 | Agirlsbestfriend | Is a 1400m specialist with three wins, two seconds and a third over the distance in nine tries. Hasn’t raced since February when second. Gets well back in races and will need luck. |

| 18 | Bon Frankie | Has been extremely consistent this campaign, with a win, a second and three thirds in past five runs. Has won three and been placed four times from eight runs at 1400m. Has a big finish. |
| 19 | Kaihoko | Form doesn’t measure up to be a major player in this. Would need to improve many lengths after finishing fourth, beaten 5.4L in Tuncurry over 1400m on a heavy track. |
| 20 | Listen To The Band | Hard to knock the veteran gelding’s recent form. Won four in a row this campaign before finishing third at last start, beaten 0.14L in Coonamble over 1400m. Steps up in grade, but a chance. |
| 21 | Sting Jet | Has been thereabouts in recent runs. Finished 10 of 16, beaten 2.92L, at Scone over 1400m on 22 March. Before that scored a win and a third. Needs improvement to be a chance. |
| 22 | Zouatica | Best on soft or heavy going. Recent form has been good but will need the conditions to suit and keep improving to be a major player. Was second at last start. |
