RACE 4 – PRESIDENT’S CHOICE

PRESIDENT’S CHOICE, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. PRESIDENT’S CHOICE was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C W Chang last Sunday morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. As previously advised, PRESIDENT’S CHOICE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

RACE 9 – EVERYONE’S DELIGHT

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that EVERYONE’S DELIGHT was lame in its right hind leg on the morning after racing. As previously advised, EVERYONE’S DELIGHT will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination which must include additional diagnostic assessments before being allowed to race again.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted last Sunday morning of all other horses inspected during last Saturday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
