Stuck to his habitual gentle canter around a lap of the all-weather lap under work rider Dorian Gonzales, closing in a pedestrian 26.4 seconds over the closing 400m; an identical time to the one he clocked on Tuesday.

After Gonzales had picked out stall one during Thursday’s barrier draw ceremony, stable representative Christophe Peyne said: “He’s very well in the mornings. In terms of the configuration of the track, stall one is quite an advantage. That said, the horse himself prefers to relax further back. But as long as he doesn’t get blocked in too far back, it should work out.”

Jogged most of a lap of the Sha Tin turf track under work rider Frank Panicucci before breezing home in 25.2 (last 400m) behind stablemate Tribalist (Mile).

Richard Lambert, stable representative for Andre Fabre, said: “It was just to give them a feel for the turf, it was not a proper piece of work.”

Galloped 1200m (Last 400m in 23.5), working in tandem with his stablemate Soul Rush (Mile) under the work rider Yutaro Amamoto.

Yuki Iwasaki, representative for trainer Yasutoshi Ikee, said: "He was breathing well and moving nicely towards the end of the gallop. He was doing well.”

Galloped over 1200m (last 400m in 23.5), working in tandem with his stablemate Zeffiro (Vase), under exercise rider Yuki Iwasaki. 

Iwasaki said: “I am very happy he showed he was very sharp and comfortable in the gallop.  His response was very good and he is very fit.”

Enjoyed his first taste of the Sha Tin turf course, led home stablemate Junko (Vase) in a comfortable 1200m gallop (last 400m in 25.1) under work rider Johann Herve.
