HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will broadcast selected key racedays of the Australian Spring Racing during October and November, Melbourne Cup Day is one of these racedays. On Tuesday, 7 November, seven races of Melbourne Cup Day from Flemington Racecourse in Australia will be simulcast. Bets will be accepted* for these races and Double will be offered. Besides, the Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool of S3-4 will be topped up with a $800,000 jackpot.
As one of the betting partners of Melbourne Cup Day, the HKJC has naming rights for one race of the meeting, namely The Hong Kong Jockey Club Stakes (S3-6).

Any ticket or betline with a total losing bet amount of HK$10,000 or above will be eligible to receive a rebate of 6% – Four Place dividends will be offered for overseas races with 21 or more declared starters at the commencement of selling – All Up as well as Cross Pool All Up betting are available for S3-1 to S3-7, but cannot be mixed with local races – Any jackpot generated from Double Trio in this meeting will be carried forward to Queen Elizabeth II Cup Day on 12 November – The final betting pool arrangement is subject to the final announcement of the Club |

“S3” must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Digital Channels** on overseas races should mark the “S3 box” and race number on the ticket or as required by the Digital Channels** interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input “overseas race” and the race number, respectively.
If “S3” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.

Ticket sales arrangement for the overseas races
Tickets for Melbourne Cup Day will be available for sale from 12:00 noon on Monday, 6 November. (Subject to further announcement by the Club)
