The Stewards have interviewed Mr K W Lui, the trainer of ENTERPRISE ATTACK, regarding his application to add a tongue tie to the gear to be worn by that horse in the stated race.  ENTERPRISE ATTACK was successful in its previous race start over the course and distance when wearing a ring bit only.

Mr Lui explained that after ENTERPRISE ATTACK’s gallop on 5 October 2023, it was reported to him that the horse was making an abnormal breathing noise on pulling up.  Subsequently, he applied a tongue tie to the horse in its gallop on 10 October 2023, and he has been pleased by its work with the addition of this piece of equipment.  He is of the opinion that the horse would benefit by wearing a tongue tie in its future race starts.

Having considered the merits of Mr Lui’s application, the Stewards have approved for ENTERPRISE ATTACK to wear a tongue tie in this race.
