Aunt Violet

First start in Germany, with one win from six starts when trained in the UK – that victory coming in a novices’ event on slow ground last October. Raced much too keenly on only 2023 start.

Blueridge Silver

Didn’t figure on her most recent start but won two handicaps off a low weight earlier in the season. This trip is ideal but this look a very hard task.

Buddy Bob

This veteran was beaten 7.75L when seventh of eleven in this race last year. Also last of four over 1600m at Bro Park in Sweden on his latest start. Needs to be at his best to figure here.

Clever Candy

This speedy mare has twice won Listed events in Germany this year, latterly over this trip on slow ground at Hamburg, fighting hard that day. A major player on that evidence.

Danelo

Good chances if back at the top of his game. In July 2022, he was ridden aggressively to win a 1200m soft-ground G3 at Hamburg, the second horse that day winning a Deauville G1 last Sunday.

Flotte Lotte

Ran one of the best races of her career when third in this in 2021. Not beaten far when third in a 1400m Listed event at Dresden last month.

Power Daddy

A winner on his career debut, but only two runs this season and having his first start since mid June. Vulnerable according to ratings.

Zandjan

Only just beaten in a Listed event over this trip at Hamburg in June, probably a career-best performance. Has a chance here if he could improve a bit on that and this does look his best trip.
