The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast for betting nine races from the Grosser Preis von Berlin Day and Prix Jacques le Marois Day on Sunday, 13 August.
Grosser Preis von Berlin Day from Germany (first race 19:23 Hong Kong time)
The Grosser Preis von Berlin (G1 2400M for 3yo+) has a rich history and is the highlight of Berlin’s racing season. The roll of honour includes Danedream and Torquator Tasso, Germany’s two most recent winners of the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.
Prix Jacques le Marois Day from France (first race 20:33 Hong Kong time)
The Prix Jacques le Marois (G1 1600M for 3yo+) is undoubtedly the jewel of Deauville’s summer festival. First run in 1921, it has firmly established itself among Europe’s top mile contests.
The day’s other features include the G3 Prix Gontaut-Biron Hong Kong Jockey Club, the annual reciprocal race in recognition of the long-standing relationship between the two racing authorities in France and Hong Kong.
