Brad The Brief

Won once in three starts in France. However, exposed just once in G1 company.

Cold Case

Atoned for Haydock flop with a respectable third in a decent G3 at Newbury. Has place prospects on his best form.

Egot

Has blown hot and cold this season. He did himself no favours on his last start, and does need to raise his game considerably.

Fort Payne

The G3 win (1400m) at Longchamp in May was his third win of the season. Pulled too hard on last start, but no easy task in this much tougher grade.

Garrus

This British sprinter loves this course where he boasts two group wins and a third in this race last year. Beaten strictly last on merit last time but sure to be thereabouts.

Khaadem

An 80-1 chance when swooping late to win star-studded G1 Royal Ascot sprint, and not disgraced when fifth in similar grade at Newmarket last time. He shouldn’t be far away.

King Gold

Loves some cut in the ground and in top form at present. Crowned his third win of the season with a very solid G3 win at Longchamp. More needed here but has place prospects.

Little Big Bear

The Europe’s champion juvenile of 2022 showed his true colours following a G2 win at Haydock and G1 second at Royal Ascot to an emerging star. There were valid reasons for his failures in two G1s at Newmarket in May and July respectively, and the fact that he has been supplemented for this is indicative of stable confidence.

Rohaan

Struggling to recapture his best form this season, but he finished a respectably fourth in this race last year, and is back for a third crack.

Saint Lawrence

Banished some indifferent form when creating a 22-1 upset in Royal Ascot sprint handicap. This is far harder but capable of outrunning his odds on second start for new yard.

Sandrine

The mare is very smart on her day, but has finished out of the numbers in her three races this season, and others are ahead of her in the pecking order at present.

Spycatcher

From a top British yard that has done well with its sprinters in France this season. There was lot to like about his G3 course win. Clearly ready for a step up in class.
