HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast Champions Cup Day from Greyville Racecourse in South Africa on Sunday, 30 July. Bets will be accepted* for these races while Double is available to provide customers with more diversified betting choices.
World Pool will also be hosted (Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place and Forecast) to ensure maximum liquidity for racing fans. For the first time, the HKJC, along with its World Pool branding, is the title sponsor of Champions Cup Day, hence the HKJC has the naming rights for all thoroughbred races of the meeting (S2-2 to S2-10).

The simulcast races of Champions Cup Day are scheduled as S2-2 to S2-10, and are due to start at 5:45 pm on 30 July. Details of the post time and betting pools are:

– Rebates will be offered for the pools of Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place and Merged Pool Win on losing bets placed on simulcast overseas races (excludes outbound commingling pools). Any ticket or betline with a total losing bet amount of HK$10,000 or above will be eligible to receive a rebate of 6% – Four Place dividends will be offered for overseas races with 21 or more declared starters at the commencement of selling – All Up as well as Cross Pool All Up bets are available for S2-2 to S2-10, but cannot be mixed with S1 races – If there is no winner of the Double Trio, the jackpot generated will be carried forward to Goodwood Cup Day on 1 August – The final betting pool arrangement is subject to the Club’s final announcement |

Simulcast races will be broadcast on TV and radio. Customers can also review the overseas races at www.racing.hkjc.com one hour after each race has finished.

“S2” must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Digital Channels** on overseas races should mark the “S2 box” and race number on the ticket or as required by the Digital Channels** interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input “overseas race” and the race number, respectively.

The odds and starter information for overseas races will be available at all OCBBs#, via Digital Channels**, and through the Odds and Information Hotline 1835888.
Ticket sales arrangement for the overseas races
Tickets for Champions Cup Day will be available for sale from 12:00 noon on Saturday, 29 July. (Subject to further announcement by the Club)
