To provide customers* with more diversified betting choices, HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will introduce a Double bet type for simulcast race meetings starting from the Singapore Derby Day meeting on Sunday, 23 July. With the addition of the Double, the number of betting pools for overseas meetings will increase from 11 to 12.

Same as the offering for local races, a Double involves picking the winner in each of two nominated races during a simulcast. A consolation will apply when customers pick the winner in the first nominated race and first runner-up in the second nominated race. With the addition of the Double, the betting pools on offer for simulcast races will include: Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place, Tierce, Forecast, Trio, Quartet, First 4, Double Trio, Treble and Double, subject to final announcement of HKJC, providing customers with more alternatives.
