RACE 5 – FOREST GOLD
FOREST GOLD, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. FOREST GOLD was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C S Shum this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. As previously advised, FOREST GOLD will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
RACE 10 – REVE PARISIEN
REVE PARISIEN, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. REVE PARISIEN was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer L Ho this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its both front legs. As previously advised, REVE PARISIEN will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
