Royal Ascot and Takarazuka Kinen beamed live for betting
Royal Ascot (20 June – 24 June 2023)
The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast all five days of Royal Ascot, from Tuesday, 20 June to Saturday, 24 June. The historic race meeting features eight Group 1 races of world renown, including the Queen Anne Stakes, King’s Stand Stakes, St James’s Palace Stakes, Prince of Wales’s Stakes, Gold Cup and Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes which has been renamed in honour of the late monarch.
Hong Kong Champion Sprinter (2021/22) Wellington is set to become Hong Kong’s first runner at the fixture since 2016. The four-time Group 1 winner is on course for the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes (G1 1200M for 4yo+), a race which his trainer Richard Gibson came close to winning with Gold-Fun seven years ago.

Takarazuka Kinen from Japan (Sun, 25 June – 14.40pm Hong Kong time)
On Sunday, 25 June, the Takarazuka Kinen will be simulcast live for betting from Hanshin Racecourse.
The Takarazuka Kinen (G1 2200m for 3yo+) is the grand prize for Japan’s middle-distance horses and caps the spring season. It is one of two races on the Japanese racing calendar that provides an opportunity for racing fans to select the majority of runners via a vote.
