G3 – 1703m – Turf

Escobar |
A respectable fourth in this last year, and showed what he was still capable of when beating 16 rivals in a valuable Ascot handicap last October. May be better in big field handicaps than this sort of race. |

Highland Avenue |
Returning from a 428-day absence when not beaten far by his 2021 Derby-winning stablemate Adayar in a Newmarket G3. Pacemaking then but good chances here. |

Imperial Fighter |
Would not have much chance here based on his last three starts. Supporters will hope that he is back in the shape that saw him finish fast into third in a 2022 G1 Classic at The Curragh. |
4 |
Marie’s Diamond |
A G3 winner for a different stable much earlier in his career but has failed to win in 20 starts for this stable though there have been some near misses including in a York handicap last month. |

Regal Reality |
Having his first start at Epsom in a 27-race career, but he is four-times a G3 winner. Effective over similar distances, best on a good or fast surface and seems best when there is a strong pace to aim at. |

Kolsai |
Narrowly failed to win a Newmarket Listed event on his first 2023 start, then second at Goodwood when favourite though not getting a perfect passage. Effective at this trip. |
