HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast nine races of Met Day from Kenilworth Racecourse in South Africa on Saturday, 28 January. Bets will be accepted* for these races. Two Double Trio pools will be offered and a jackpot of $198,513 is carried forward to the 1st Double Trio pool of Met Day.
World Pool will also be hosted (Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place and Forecast) to ensure maximum liquidity for racegoers. Under World Pool branding as one of the betting partners of Met Day, the HKJC has naming rights for one race of the meeting, namely World Pool The Invitational (S1-11).

The simulcast races of the Met Day are scheduled as S1-4 to S1-12, and are due to start at 7:50 pm on 28 January. Details of the post time and betting pools are:
Broadcast arrangements
Simulcast races will be broadcast on TV and radio. Customers can also review the overseas races at www.racing.hkjc.com one hour after each race has finished.
“S1” must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Digital Channels** on overseas races should mark the “S1 box” and race number on the ticket or as required by the Digital Channels interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input “overseas race” and the race number, respectively.
If “S1” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.

The odds and starter information for overseas races will be available at all OCBBs#, via Digital Channels**, and on the Odds and Information Hotline 1835888.
Ticket sales arrangement for the overseas races
Ticket sales for Met Day will be available from noon on Friday, 27 January. (Subject to further announcement by the Club)
