HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast The Everest and Caulfield Cup from Randwick Racecourse and Caulfield Racecourse in Australia on Saturday 15 October respectively. It will also simulcast six races of British Champions Day from Ascot Racecourse in Great Britain on the same evening. Bets will be accepted* for these races.
For British Champions Day, two Double Trio pools will be offered and a jackpot of $450,298 is carried forward to the second Double Trio pool. World Pool will also be hosted (Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place, Forecast, Tierce and Treble) to ensure maximum liquidity for racing fans. Besides, the Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool of Race 2 on British Champions Day (S2-2) will be topped up with a $600,000 jackpot.
Race times and betting pools
The simulcast races of The Everest and Caulfield Cup are scheduled as S1-1 and S1-2, and are due to start at 1:15 pm and 2:15 pm on 15 October respectively. The simulcast races of British Champions Day are scheduled as S2-1 to S2-6, and are due to start at 8:25 pm on 15 October. Details of the post time and betting pools are:

“S1” or “S2” must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Interactive Services** on overseas races should mark the “S1 box” or “S2 box” and race number on the ticket or as required by the Interactive Services interface. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input “overseas race” and the race number, respectively.
If “S1” or “S2” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.

The odds and starter information for overseas races will be available via Interactive Services, and through the Odds and Information Hotline 1835888.
Ticket sales arrangement for the overseas races
Tickets for The Everest, Caulfield Cup will be available for sale from 9:00 am on Saturday, 15 October. Ticket sales for British Champions Day will be available from 12:00 noon on Friday, 14 October. (Subject to further announcement by the Club)
