In great shape and no surprise to see her up to G1 after a good G3 runner-up at Chukyo in January latest.

Suffered nose bleed in this race last year.  Finished 2.5L 7th on his return from 8-month break in the G3 Keihan Hai (1200m) last November.

Lei Halia

Fourth straight win in the G3 Keeneland Cup (1200m) last August but less encouraging on her latest start when finishing last in the G3 Keihan Hai (1200m) last November.  Best when sitting handy or leading.

Sunrise Honest

Showed lots of progress this term with a narrow win at 1200m in January and a good 3rd in the G3 Hankyu Hai (1400m) last month.

Resistencia

Very solid mare including a close second in this race last year. First run since 2nd in the G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Sprint (1200m) last December. Usually races handy.  Versatile groundwise.

Gendarme

Showed dramatic improvement from the disappointing 13th two starts back and took the long waited graded race victory since November 2017 in G3 Ocean Stakes (1200m) early this month.

Lotus Land

Six time winner between 1400m and 1800m delivered the powerful challenge to win the G3 Kyoto Himba Stakes (1400m) last out.  First run over the distance.

Kir Lord

Two wins in a row at listed and open-class last term.  Finished 2L sixth on his return in the G3 Ocean Stakes (1200m) early this month.

Kurino Gaudi

Last year’s G2 Centaur Stakes (1200m) 3rd finisher.  Recent starts have been disappointing.

Eighteen Girl

Burst her speed and claimed the G3 Keihan Hai (1200m) last November but no match for the winner in the G3 Hankyu Hai (1400m) last month. Hold-up runner.

Travesura

This listed race winner delivered his career best when 4th in this race last year and still in good shape with good 2nd effort on his return from nine and a half-month break at G3 last month.

Diatonic

Consistent sprinter who finished 3rd in the 2020 G1 Takamatsunomiya Kinen (1200m). Finished 1.3L 4th on his return from 4-month break in G3 Kyoto Kimpai (1600m) in January and showed his talent when winning the G3 Hankyu Hai (1400m) latest.

First Force

A winner in G3 over the distance. A close 3rd in G3 last November, but finished below par on recent two runs.  Usually leads or sits handy.

Daimei Fuji

Has not tasted any success since March 2020 and finished below par in 3 runs this term.  Big surprise if he wins this race.

Meikei Yell

A temperamental but very talented multiple graded race winning filly returned to her top form when winning in her seasonal bow in G3 Silk Road Stakes (1200m) in January last out.

Grenadier Guards

Bounced back from disappointing performance in the G1 Mile Championship and showed a strong finish to win the G2 Hanshin Cup (1400m) last out. Dropped down to the 1200m for the first time on his return from 3-month layoff.
