Has winning form in Uruguay and has adapted well to Meydan with three solid runs. His third in a 1600m G3 last time did not do him justice as he got a poor trip.

Led most of the way to win a dirt maiden on his debut, doing at least well when fourth in a G3 – both over 1600m. His pedigree gives hope that he’ll stay this longer trip.

Conglomerate

Modest efforts on his first three starts, before landing a surprise victory at Meydan in January perhaps handling the muddy track best. A respectable fifth in a G3 last time.

Final Dance

Won three of his five starts in Turkey last year, all on turf at between 1200m and 1600m. His pedigree does not scream dirt, but he is clearly smart.

Get Back Goldie

US trained and won from the front over 1600m at Santa Anita. Switching to dirt and dropping to 1200m he made a winning debut at Meydan despite a slow start.

Mujeer

Came from the back to score a surprise victory on his career debut at Meydan, over 1400m last December. However he has looked vulnerable in stronger company since.

Quality Humor

Has risen sharply in trip on each start, latterly when making some late headway to finish fifth of 13 over this course and distance last month.

Sari Dubai

Moves up in trip like most of his rivals here. Both his starts have been encouraging, latterly when finishing strongly for second at Meydan in January – the first two clear of the rest.

Secret Image

Proven at this trip which is not the case with many of his rivals. A soft ground turf winner in the UK, he ran an encouraging third in the trial for this event when switching to dirt at Meydan last month.

Sed Maarib

Busy this year with four Meydan starts, not beaten far in any of them and looks to handle this trip. However his only previous run on a dirt surface was not good.

Violent Justice

Comfortably outclassed his rivals over 1400m at Jebel Ali on his second career start, though needed strong handling. Then ran fourth in the trial for this race at Meydan.

Withering

A much improved performance on his latest start when he survived a slow start to win the trial for this race last month. A similar performance would give him a strong winning chance.
