The Chief Medical Officer has advised the Stewards that Jockey Luke Currie, who was dislodged from PRIDE OF EIGHT in Batch 3 of the barrier trials conducted at Sha Tin racecourse this morning, has been stood down from riding until further notice.

Accordingly, the Stewards have approved the following substitutions for the Happy Valley race meeting scheduled to be conducted this coming Sunday, 6 February 2022:-

Race 2     HIGH RISE SOLDIER – Z Purton
Race 3     YEE CHEONG WARRIOR – A Hamelin
Race 4     NOIR RIDER – K C Leung
Race 5     FIERY DIAMOND – C Wong
Race 6     AMBITIOUS HEART – K H Chan
Race 7     ATULLIBIGEAL – C Y Ho
Race 8     GRATEFUL HEART – H Bentley
Race 9     DECRYPT – A Hamelin
Race 10   HIT THE SHOT – K C Leung

A further release will be issued in respect of Jockey Currie’s fitness to resume riding at the appropriate time.
