The Stewards have been provided with written advice from Racing Victoria Limited that STORM WARNINGS (D369), which raced as Barcali prior to being imported into Hong Kong, wore blinkers when it raced in that jurisdiction.

Mr D J Whyte, trainer of STORM WARNINGS, has requested he be permitted to race the horse in blinkers without it being subjected to a blinkers test. Mr Whyte’s request has been approved.
