The Hong Kong Jockey Club is offering a wide range of limited edition merchandise as well as a festive menu to celebrate the year of the Pig at the Chinese New Year Raceday on 7 February at Sha Tin Racecourse.

Unique range of CNY-themed collectibles
A new range of CNY-themed merchandise will be presented wishing racegoers a delightful Chinese New Year.  The “Five Fortune” Series is designed with five lucky Chinese characters “Good Fortune”, “Prosperity”, “Luck”, “Happiness” and “Wealth” along with the “Five Fortune Horse” icon, while a silk scarf designed by renowned crossover artist Simon Ma, blending a horse graphic and the Chinese character “horse” in calligraphy on a festive coral color background, are available at Gift at Races at Sha Tin and Happy Valley Racecourses and the online shop.

An auspicious start to the year with gourmet dishes

A special menu of festive dishes will be offered at Mezza One, the gourmet food plaza at Sha Tin Racecourse, bringing good fortune as well as great tastes

All racegoers will receive a fortune pen and an instant win card# upon admission to the racecourses (until the start of Race 6, while stocks last) on Chinese New Year Raceday, offering a chance to win a 24K gold foil ornament. There are 800 prizes to be won, with a total value of over HK$290,000.

There will be 11 races at Sha Tin Racecourse on 7 February, with the Variety Show and Opening Ceremony starting at 11:00am and the first race starting at 12:30pm. Visitors to Hong Kong will be able to enter the Public Enclosure free of charge upon showing a valid travel document.
