A routine pre-race inspection conducted this morning of LATROBE, a declared runner in the stated race, was found to be mildly lame on his left front leg with some sensitivity to both heel bulbs of his left front foot.  

LATROBE will be re-examined tomorrow morning to assess the horse’s suitability to race. A further release will be issued at that time.
