Trackside Breakfast with the Stars, the annual prelude to the LONGINES Hong Kong International Races, will be held on Saturday 8 December.
The event is a great opportunity for family gatherings, enabling participants to spend an enjoyable morning in the green space of Sha Tin Racecourse, with a buffet breakfast , and a precious opportunity to view some of the world’s finest race horses at exercise ahead of the following day’s four Group 1 races, and to meet trainers and jockeys attending the International Races.
Tickets will go on sale from today. A gift will be given to each customer: Pedometer Watch for adults and a Mini-Horse Plush for children.
The Trackside Breakfast runs from 8:00 am until 10:00 am at the Public Forecourt of Sha Tin Racecourse. The event offers a rare chance to observe star horses from Hong Kong and overseas having their final tune-ups on the track before the big day, with commentaries from well-known racing presenters Angelin Chang and Simon Leung (in Cantonese). Star trainers and jockeys will be there to share their insights on the four Group 1 races for LONGINES HKIR. Also, an array of on-course activities including a photo-taking opportunity with Shetland ponies (limited quota), games and workshops will be available for children.
