| Bullbear Truffe | Coming off 3-month layoff and took on first race at this level last out on 23 September over a mile. Finished in 9th place. Improvement expected, but lacks speed, likely outclassed. |
| Dream Soldier | Four-year-old colt took on first start at this level last out 23 September. Finished 5th, only 1 1/2-length behind winner. Difficult to settle but has excellent late speed. Worth a wager at likely long odds. |
| Emeral Star | Has 3 wins, 1 second and 2 thirds at this distance. Has missed top spots past three starts but was in good shape last out 23 September. Ran into traffic, finished 4th. Should improve. |
| Oh My Guy | Has failed to post win since June last year, but has made board in last three starts, two at a mile. Finished 1 3/4-length 5th last out on 9 September. Held back nicely but hampered by traffic in final stages. |

| Win Chatelaine | Has only missed top 3 in 3 of 14 starts in class lower. Moved up to this level last start over 1400m to finish fifth. Has one win and 2 seconds at Kyoto, latter two over a mile. Tends to race forward of midfield but can run from any position. Will carry less than last race. |
