The Hong Kong Jockey Club bought two eye-catching colts for a total outlay of A$300,000 (approximately HK$1.782 million) at the Magic Millions Gold Coast National Yearling Sale on 5 June, 2018.

Lot 1704 is a full-brother to the G1 winner Plucky Belle, being by Mossman out of the G2-winning mare Winning Belle. The youngster’s dam has also produced the G1 Victoria Derby third Rawnaq and the G1 Randwick Guineas third Light Brigade. The Club secured the bay for A$150,000.

The same amount was enough to purchase Lot 1874, an athletic Hinchinbrook colt from the family of G2 winner Indian Ocean and G3 scorer Lorne Dancer.
