1200m – Turf
1 | Command Royale | Former three-time winner from New Zealand who made an encouraging Singapore debut when 4th in a Class 3 race over 1200m. Should strip much fitter and looks a chance if he can overcome his wide draw. |
2 | I’ve Got A Feeling | Four-time winner over this track and distance who looks suited switching back to the turf track, where all four of his career wins have come. Partnered with his regular rider John Powell, who has ridden the gelding to 3 wins and 2 placings from 10 starts, he will be in the finish. |
3 | Biraz | Backmarker who needs a fast speed to run home strongly. Generally races best on the Polytrack but is always capable of surprising at value. Blinkers added and should run well here. |
4 | Tales Of Summer | Bold front-runner who can prove hard to catch if he strikes an easy lead. Clocked a fast 1m 08.93s when winning over this track and distance four starts ago and he can go all the way. |
5 | Battle Of Troy | Has never won over 1200m and generally needs it longer, however he will be suited by an expected solid tempo and can place. |
6 | Charger | Failed in the first two legs of the Three-Year-Old Challenge and will find this much more to his liking. Scored back-to-back wins over this track and distance in February and March this year. Wearing blinkers for the first time here and can improve. |
7 | Kolombia | Showed big improvement on the Polytrack last start and looks to be finding form at the right time. Look for betting support but this is much harder. |
8 | Sky Rocket | Impressive winner two starts ago over this track and distance, when scoring by seven lengths. Went on to be beaten by a quality galloper in Paparazzi last start and will find this race much easier. |
9 | Unsurpassed | Bled two starts ago and then returned with a fair effort when 7th on the polytrack. Hard to recommend on current form. |
10 | Splinter | Has been struggling to find his best form but caught the eye working home last start on the Polytrack. Value place chance. |
11 | Lim’s Reform | Scored a massive upset win last start at odds of 67/1 over 1000m on the Polytrack. Has never won over 1200m from 10 attempts but has been placed 7 times over the distance. |
12 | Ares | Form has been down of late and is struggling to find his best. At his best could figure in the finish but take on trust. |
13 | Conilad | Three-time winner with two of those wins coming over this track and distance. Mixes his form and is very hard to catch. |
14 | Oculist | Former Hong Kong galloper who failed at eight starts at Sha Tin and Happy Valley. Had previously won twice in Australia over 1500m and 1550m. Making his Singapore debut and won a barrier trial on 3 May. Watch the betting. |

15 | Mr Colin | Was a brilliant winner at his first two career starts over this track and distance before having no luck when unplaced in a good quality Class 3 race. Freshened up and if you overlook his last start he can easily win this. |
16 | Imperial Win | Former quality New Zealand two-year-old who has yet to be placed in eight starts in Singapore. Heavily supported last start but failed to fire. |
