Three internationally-acclaimed performing troupes, in town for the annual Le French May Art Festival, will bring fans a different vibe each week:
9 May: OMMM brings acapella performances featuring dub masters renowned for vocal beatboxing
16 May: The Elem’ants will wow the crowd with their hip hop gag
23 May: Le Syndicat du Chrome performs with an amazing mix of afrofunk and French brass brand
Feature races on the track will include the Sauternes Cup on 9 May and the France Galop Cup and the Le French May Trophy on 23 May.
The trackside kiosks are also offering a delightful selection of French cuisine for fans’ enjoyment. Dishes on offer are: Sautéed Mushroom in Black Truffle Cream Sauce, Brioche (HK$65); Quiche Lorraine with Green Salad (HK$55); Braised Duck Leg in Orange Sauce with Roasted Potatoes (HK$60); Crunchy John Dory’s Fingers and Potato Wedges with Lemon Caper Mayonnaise (HK$95); Roasted Half French Spring Chicken with Rosemary Red Wine Sauce (HK$65); Braised Beef in Spices and Red Wine with Baguette (HK$75).
