Front-runner who has two wins from six starts including victory over 1200m at Nakayama in March on dirt. This is harder but one of the chances.

Every Possible

Dual winner over 1400m on dirt at Kyoto, both times as favourite. Has missed the placings only once in her career and must be respected taking on the colts.

Hagure Joe

Racing in good form and is a track and distance winner. Finished powerfully when third here last start over 1400m. This is harder but cannot be discounted.

Jack Nadal

Broke through last start for comfortable win at Tokyo over 1300m on this surface after overcoming wide draw. This is harder, but capable of threatening.

Lux Raymond

Shaping nicely with two wins from four starts and finished off strongly when third over 1400m on dirt at Chukyo on 15 March behind Smart Julius. One of the main contenders.

Magic Cookie

Has won twice on dirt over 1300m and 1400m at Tokyo but finished fifth over 1400m on dirt at Chukyo on 15 March. Capable of rebounding.

Meisho Kakuuchi

Overcame tricky gate and scored nicely over this course and distance on 22 February from gate 11. Promising colt who could easily figure here.

Red Stinger

Versatile type who has won over 1500m on turf and last start posted first win on dirt with success over 1200m at Nakayama on 7 March. Must be considered.

Rose Charis

Dual winner on dirt and is dropping back from turf contests at Group level. Much better suited at this grade and is also more effective on dirt. Place chance.

Summer Gale

Has shown decent talent in posting two wins from two starts for Rachel King, including a comfortable victory at last start on dirt over 1400m at Tokyo. One of the main hopes.

T O Glaser

Extremely consistent colt with two wins and four minor placings from six starts. Tends to roll forward in his races and hard to beat on last start second over 1400m on dirt at Chukyo on 15 March.
