Alana Koa

Has shown consistency since switched to dirt, finishing no worse than sixth in all starts. Won the lower class over this track and the distance by seven lengths and his runner-up finish last time here also showed suitability for this course. Likely a major contender again.

Aoi Mimosa

Changed to dirt from turf in 2024 and marked two wins over the surface. Ran over 1400m in recent three starts but finished out of frame.

Baton Indie

Struggled after rising in class but showed improvement when 2nd last time. Blinkers fitted three runs ago have helped his early positioning. Prefers a firmer surface and would be suited by some moisture in the track.

Matenro Brave

Shown upward curve since last autumn, finishing on the board in four recent starts. Typically improves with racing. Could be competitive if the race sets up in his favour.

Meisho Oko

Temperamental type who can lose focus, even when winning. Has not shown much in morning work, making him difficult to assess. Ability is there, but needs to settle and concentrate better to be competitive.

Moment Heureux

Versatile type who handles both turf and dirt well. Showed a good run and finished 2.5L 3rd over the surface and the distance last time.

Naglfar

Promising type who won his first two starts on turf. Returned from a break to finish ninth, lacking a finishing kick last time. Now switches to dirt, which could bring improvement if suited by the surface.

Red Liberta

Has run from 1400m to 2400m in 20 career starts. No track concern. A consistent type who sustains his run.

Rhino

Showed strong ability when winning a maiden on dirt by six lengths after switching from turf. Sidelined with for around seven and a half-month, but returned to win from a handy position. Looks progressive and should measure up beyond this class.

Riad

The 2019 JRHA Select Sale Foal session graduate for 507,600,000 yen switched to dirt from turf in April last year. Finished on the board in 3 of 5 recent starts over the surface.

Show Dancer

Has finished no worse than sixth over the distance in all nine starts. Proven over this track and the trip.

Superjock

Displayed his strong stretch run to win by 3L in the lower class. No concern with the trip at all. Disappointing defeat last time.

T O Legacy

Neck 2nd in this class over the trip and the track last year. Returned from 8-month layoff last November but showed little last time. First run since then.

Turbulencia

Finished out of frame in the recent three starts. Tends to be pace-dependent. If the race sets up with his closing style, he can produce late speed.

Wide Krieger

Showed improvement in his third start this season when holding on to win the lower-class last time. The distance should be his best.
