G3 Flemington winner last November over 1000m. Not the best of luck in G2 1200m when beaten 3.91L on 7 March. Was one paced at the end but had excuses.

Alibaba

Drifted back after jumping well in G1 Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m) on 21 February. Came from last to finish 3.55L eighth. Can fill a place.

Campione D’Italia

Is a G2 winner here. Finished quickly from last in the field for 2.05L fourth in G1 Golden Slipper (1200m) when hampered. Major contender.

Paradoxium

Raced wide without cover in G1 Golden Slipper (1200m) and weakened badly to finish 4.98L eleventh. Is capable of improving quickly with more economical run.

Zambales

Got back and didn’t have much luck in the G1 Golden Slipper (1200m). Battled on okay to finish 4.3L ninth but never threatened. Still a maiden but has three seconds. Capable of another place.

Rich On Bubbles

Has won his past three, including 1200m Listed at Caulfield on 21 March at short odds. The rise to 1400m should suit but it’s also a big jump in class. Others appeal more.

Outspan

Was big odds when 0.96L second in G3 1200m on 14 March when raced handy. Has a win and a second from his four races. Is honest but others better.

Was an impressive maiden winner at his last start over 1300m on 26 March. Has only raced once and likely to find this out of his depth at this stage of his career.

Dr Hook

Is first-up for new trainer after being unplaced so far in his three races. Did show improvement in G2 1400m at Flemington on 7 March when 2.52L fifth. Zac Purton has the ride on the outsider.

Streisand

Top class filly who is G1 and G2 winner and should easily handle the rise to 1400m. Was gallant last start when 1.37L second in G1 Golden Slipper when raced handy. The one to beat.

Miss Chanel

Is yet to win from five starts but has four minor places, including last start 0.1L second over 1200m at Caulfield when raced wide without cover. Is certainly worth following.

Led at short odds to score her first victory with 2.69L win over 1350m on 18 March. Steps up a lot in class but could be a place prospect in this field.
