Has six wins from eight tries at the distance. Had every chance in G1 1100m on 21 March when 0.26L fourth. Has won twice at track and distance, including this race last year. Chance again.

Zac Purton takes the ride. Hit the line strongly in a leader dominated race for 1.4L fourth in G2 1000m on 7 March. Handles all conditions. In the mix.

Leader who finished narrow second in this race last year. Last raced in G3 1400m in December when third. Has won two trials to prepare for this. Respect good first up form.

Is having his third attempt in the race and did run third in 2023. Has been close-up in past two, including 0.21L third in G1 1100m when led. Chances enhanced on soft going.

Joliestar

Has won her past two, G2 1200m and G1 1300m when raced handy then chased down leader. Has won three times at the track and distance. One of the top contenders.

Tentyris

Boom colt who pulled up with cardiac arrhythmia after finishing 1.52L fifth in G1 1200m on 7 March when raging favorite. Will be storming home and sure to bounce back in better weighted race.

Magic Time

Good sprinting mare who has two wins at the track and distance from five attempts. Is a G1 1400m winner. Was okay first-up in G1 1200m when beaten 2.87L. Second-up record is sound but this is hard.

Skybird

Has failed to repeat her G1 1000m winning form at Flemington early in 2025 after some injury problems. Needs to improve on last start 2.09L fifth in G2 1000m when tried hard.
