| 4 | Good Banter | Struggled for form at the end of last preparation and that didn’t change when she failed to beat a runner home in the G3 Aspiration Quality (1600m) first up. Look elsewhere. |
| 5 | Quietness | Should improve from first-up sixth behind Pinito in the G3 Aspiration Quality (1600m) on 7 March and will enjoy the step-up in distance. Good each-way chance. |
| 6 | Movin Out | Was a winner two starts back before finishing fourth in the G3 Aspiration Quality (1600m) last time out. Looks as though connections are still trying to work out her best distance but she remains an each-way chance. |
| 7 | Polymnia | Is building nicely into her preparation, running sixth first-up before finishing third in the G3 Aspiration Quality (1600m) last start. Strong each-way chance. |
| 8 | Starphistocated | Has been racing in top form and handled the step up into Group company with aplomb last start, finding only Pinito too good in the G3 Aspiration Quality (1600m). |
| 9 | Geemes | Steps up in grade but back in trip for her third start of the preparation. Is in solid form but may just lack the class to be truly competitive here. |
| 10 | Sun Gift | Has been racing in top form for a sustained period, reeling off two wins and three seconds from five starts dating back to December. Can be competitive here with further improvement. |
| 11 | Sweltering | Built nicely into her last preparation and connections will be hoping the same happens this time around after two moderate recent runs. Prefer others here, however. |
| 12 | Maisy | Resumed after six months off with a nice second last month but this is a much stiffer test and she likely lacks the class to be truly competitive. |
| 13 | Placid Pearl | Could only manage 10th against a swag of these in the G3 Aspiration Quality (1600m) last start and again looks to be making up the numbers here. |
| 14 | Reflect | Has been racing well without winning and connections have opted to step her up in trip for this contest. Each-way chance. |
