The Hong Kong Jockey Club purchased one well-related colt from the recent Cape Racing 2026 Premier Yearling Sale (13-14 March) in Cape Town, South Africa for ZAR4 million (approx. HK$1.96 million).
Sold as Lot 94, the attractive bay was the sale’s second highest-priced to go through the ring. The youngster’s dam is Singforafa – a high-quality sprinter, who won six races throughout her career, including the 2021 G1 South African Fillies Sprint (1200m).
His sire Rafeef, crowned South African Champion Sprinter in 2017, is one of South Africa’s leading stallions with nearly 200 wins. His top progeny includes Group 1 winners Thunderstruck, William Robertson and Aragosta.
