RACE 8 – SWIFT ASCEND

SWIFT ASCEND, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the horse was lame in its left front leg. SWIFT ASCEND was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D Eustace this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front and right hind legs. As previously advised, SWIFT ASCEND will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s race meeting were shown to have no significant findings.
