1100m – Turf

1

Bel Merci

She resumed from a spell with an excellent fast finishing effort for 1.65L 3rd to Alpha Sofie in G3 (1100m) at Caulfield on 7 February. Hard to beat.

2

Thanks Gorgeous

She was a winner this track and distance two starts ago before 4.1L 7th to Alpha Sofie, G3 (1100m) at Caulfield. One of the main chances.

3

Yum

Promising filly who was a listed winner last September who is resuming. She sprints well fresh and should run a prominent race.

4

Wintery

Fast filly who is in good form. She followed her first-up win at Pakenham (1000m, BM64 Handicap) with a 1.5L 2nd to Alpha Sofie in G3 (1100m) at Caulfield on 7 February.

5

La Roux

She followed Moe 1000m BM62 Handicap win with a 1.03L 5th in a Pakenham BM66 Handicap on 19 February. Has place claims here.

6

Educated

She’s won both starts impressively leading throughout each time. At her last win she won by 3.25L over 1000m at Cranbourne on 30 January. Consider again.

7

Befuddle

She resumed from a long spell with a first-up 2.4L 4th in a BM66 Handicap at Caulfield Heath over 1000m on 9 February. She’s yet to run a bad race.

8

Gwen’s Girl

She’s aiming to make it three on end after wins in a Warrnambool Maiden (1000m) on 11 January and Cranbourne BM64 Handicap (1000m) on 6 February. Will have plenty of admirers.

9

Torsheen

She’s racing well with a win and three placings from her past four starts including seconds at her past two runs. The latest in a BM64 Handicap (3YO fillies) at Caulfield Heath which reads well for this.

10

Headbanger

She’s improving with racing. She followed a 0.5L 2nd at Sandown Hillside (maiden, 1000m) with a win in a Cranbourne maiden. Worth a look.

11

Star Of Omaha

She’s shown ability over more ground. At her last start she finished 2.9L 4th to Salty Pearl in a G2 1600m event at Moonee Valley on 25 October. Recent 1000m jump-out winner.

12

Superliv

She followed Geelong maiden win over 1125m with a 3.7L 3rd in a 3YO BM64 Handicap at Cranbourne over 1000m. This is harder but stable is in form.
