Expected to offer the biggest challenge to Autumn Glow. Is first-up after finishing last year with G1 1800m and 2000m wins. Only been unplaced once in his nine starts. Good fresh record.

Lindermann

Raced handy and held on for 3.57L third of 10 first-up on 14 February in G2 1400m in a race won by Autumn Glow. Is capable but would need to go to another level to win this.

Wootton Verni

Finished a long way from stablemate Autumn Glow when resumed in G2 1400m at Randwick on 14 February. Better over further distances as he showed with two G3 2000m wins last year.

Soul Of Spain

Was massive odds when 9.06L ninth of 10 to stablemate Autumn Glow in G2 1400m on 14 February. Second-up form is solid but is best suited over 2000m-plus.

Valiant King

Ran a good race in the G1 Caulfield Cup (2400m) to finish 1.46L third and then was well back at his last race in the G1 Melbourne Cup (3200m). Has had two trials and is first-up for this but will find the opposition too slick at 1600m.

Trinity College

Former Irish galloper making his Australian debut. European form is solid with a G3 Ascot win and G1 French second at past two. Has had three trials but is expected to improve with racing.

Autumn Glow

Brilliant mare who has won all of her nine races, including first-up G2 1400m here on 14 February when stalked leaders to score by 2.66L. Has won all of her five starts at the track. The one to beat.

Aeliana

Finished second to stablemate Autumn Glow, beaten 2.66L, at last start in G2 1400m here when didn’t have much luck. Talented but difficult to see her gaining revenge, but will be trying hard.
