The David Hayes-trained Ka Ying Rising secures the second leg of the Hong Kong Speed Series – the HK$13 million G1 Queen’s Silver Jubilee Cup (1400m) – today (Sunday, 22 February) under Zac Purton at Sha Tin. Jumping from barrier three, Ka Ying Rising achieved his 18th consecutive win – a new record for a Hong Kong-trained horse; also setting a new 1400m turf course record (1m 19.36s).
