RACE 4 – HAKKA RADIANCE

The Veterinary Officer reported that HAKKA RADIANCE was lame in its left front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, HAKKA RADIANCE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 5 – RAINBOW WARRIOR

After the race, RAINBOW WARRIOR was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. RAINBOW WARRIOR was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D J Whyte this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, RAINBOW WARRIOR will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 8 – BABY CRYSTAL

BABY CRYSTAL, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. BABY CRYSTAL was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer B Crawford this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. As previously advised, BABY CRYSTAL will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s race meeting were shown to have no significant findings.
