G2 – 1200m – Turf
Mon Petit Cherie | Finished second in the G1 Garden Province Stakes (1600m) three starts back, saluted at the course and distance two runs ago and then finished 12th behind Dave The King in a 1600m G2 most recently. Top chance.
Mia Moo | Was a G1 winner in 2025, snaring the South African Fillies Sprint (1200m) in May, and made it four wins from her past five starts with victory last time out. Must be seriously considered.
Disting | Rises in grade but has been a consistent performer for some time now and can make her presence felt if able to show her best. An each-way chance.
Stormwatch | Lightly raced three-year-old filly made a cracking start to her career with two wins and two seconds from her first four starts. Was ninth behind Quickstepgal in a G1 last time out and could certainly figure.
Gimme What I Want | Promising young filly who ran third behind Mon Petit Cherie last start and looks to be open to plenty of improvement. This is a sterner test but she is not without a chance.
Be Merry | Four-year-old’s form has been lacking in recent starts and she also likely lacks the class to be competitive here. Prefer others in this wide-open contest.
Scarlet Macaw | A winner at Durbanville two starts back before returning to Kenilworth to run fifth behind Mon Petit Cherie. Could spring a surprise with improvement.
Mai Sensation | Finished eighth over this course and distance last start after winning over the Kenilworth 1100m two runs back. Is another who would need to improve to figure.
She’s My World | Has compiled an impressive record with three wins and five placings from her first 11 starts. Was decent when third last start and can figure with a light weight.
Quickstepgal | Snared the G1 Cape Fillies Guineas (1600m) last start and is the class entrant of the race. Has shown she can also handle the shorter trips and will be very hard to topple here.
Lowveld Lily | Has been racing well over longer trips and returns to the course and distance of a strong victory in May. Comes off a G1 Cape Fillies Guineas (1600m) fifth behind Quickstepgal and can run a race.
Green Diamond | Made a big impression in her two-year-old season with two wins and a second from four runs, with those successes coming at G2 and G3. Finished last when resuming in December but needed her first run in five months. Chance.
Princess Of Gaul | Three-year-old filly has won three of her five starts and also comes through Quickstepgal’s G1 Cape Fillies Guineas (1600m), finishing fourth. Is open to improvement and can figure.
Symphony In White | Was a close second in a G3 last start and the step up in trip could work in her favour. A big run would not surprise.
Roccapina | Finished 10th on 6 December in her first run since April. Will take improvement from that run but will need to against this field.

Tanneron | Has been racing in strong form, winning at the course and distance last start after a close second the run before. Could make an impact if she makes the field.
Festival Chic | Comes off a seventh-placed finish in a 1000m G3 contest and looks poised to enjoy the step up in distance. Can figure in the finish.
