G2 – 1200m – Turf

1

Splash Back

Races for the first time since finishing down the field in the G1 Empire Rose Stakes (1600m) at Flemington last November and will be better for the run.

2

Infancy

Was more than serviceable when resuming from a four-month layoff in the G1 The Galaxy (1100m) and won this race first up 12 months ago. Respect.

3

Gangsta Granny

Another progressive four-year-old, she hasn’t missed a place in 11 career starts – winning five times – and there’s no reason that won’t continue here. Strong each-way chance.

4

Catch The Glory

Has raced sparingly in recent times but has won three of her past four, including a recent first-up victory in the G3 Birthday Card Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill last start. Strong chance.

5

In Flight

Only finished eighth in the G1 The Galaxy (1100m) on 21 March but was still within a length of the winner and cannot be discounted here. Each-way hope.

6

Flying For Fun

Progressive four-year-old really looks to be pulling it all together and her last-start victory in the G3 Maurice McCarten Stakes (1100m) suggests she can be right in the finish here.

7

Coco Jamboo

Was wide without cover when 13th in the G3 Birthday Card Stakes (1200m) but it’s been some time since she’s boasted the sort of form required to be competitive here.

8

She’s Got Pizzazz

Scratched

9

Tiger Shark

10

Monte Supreme

Was seventh behind Catch The Glory in the G3 Birthday Card Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill on 21 March and a midfield finish again looks most likely here.

11

More Territories

Has gone over a year without winning and while her recent form has been solid enough, that doesn’t look like changing here. Looking elsewhere.

12

Spring Lee

Finished within a length of Catch The Glory when third in the G3 Birthday Card Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill last start and that form should stack up well here. Each-way chance.

13

Monte Kate

Has strung together a solid run of form in the lower grades, winning twice and finishing second twice from her past four starts, but this is a different test altogether. Watch.

14

Husk

Has had a couple of nice trials ahead of her first run since November but is likely to need the run here. Others appeal more.
