RACE 5 – JOKER ORBIT

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that JOKER ORBIT was lame in its right front leg on the day after racing. Before being allowed to race again, JOKER ORBIT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 8 – WONDER KIT

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that WONDER KIT was found to have a right front tendon injury on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, WONDER KIT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 9 – RED SEA

RED SEA, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. RED SEA was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer J Richards this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. As previously advised, RED SEA will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s race meeting were shown to have no significant findings.
