Better suited here than last start 6.35L fourth in G1 Randwick Guineas (1600m). Likes the track and distance and will be hard to hold out.

West of Swindon

Is a G2 1600m winner at Moonee Valley and has been contesting higher level races, including last start 3.93L seventh in G2 1500m. Still needs to find a couple of lengths.

Matias

Notched up two seconds and two wins at end of last campaign and resumed on 14 March for 4.56L eighth in G2 1500m when carried wide. Can improve.

Aerodrome

Kept his second-up record intact with Listed win in Canberra Guineas (1400m) on 8 March. Has won three of his seven races and rates a chance here.

Providence

Highly-rated colt who bolted in 1350m maiden on 10 February but was well beaten in G1 1600m on 7 March. Will find this easier and is a top chance.

Crossbow

Last start winner at big odds when scored narrowly over 1400m on 25 March. Would need luck to feature here.

Autumn Break

Has three wins and two thirds from his six races. Got home strongly from the back at his past two, including 2.15L fifth over 1400m. Threat again.

Agent Zero

Took a narrow lead at 200m from home but was headed to finish 2.43L second over 1500m on 7 March. This is a tougher race.

Held up for a run at vital stage when 4.13L fourth over 1400m in lower grade race on 11 March. Distance is ideal but needs improvement.

Barrengarry

Broke his maiden status at 1600m two starts back and then won over 1500m at Rosehill on 21 March when surged home. Has plenty of potential.

Monopolistic

Lightly-raced with two wins and a second from four races. Was sound last start when worked home strongly for 2.21L fifth over 1400m. This is a big test.

Kilman

Came from near last to finish 1.85L four of eleven on 25 March over 1400m. Hasn’t had much luck in recent starts but might lack polish to threaten the top few.

Pappa Blue

Got out of maiden grade two starts ago over 1400m and then won again over same trip on 13 March. Has ability but faces tougher opposition here.

Olympian

Hasn’t done much wrong with two wins and a second from his three races, including last start 1.63L over 1400m. Is on the up but his is a huge jump in class.
