Machine Gun Gracie

Former Western Australian galloper making her debut for new trainers. Won a Listed and two Group races over staying distances last year. Should go well fresh.

Philia

Well beaten first-up when 4.25L sixth here on 14 February over 1400m. Has won twice at 1600m but best win has been at 2000m in G2. Finished second to Pride Of Jenni in recent 1200m jump out. Improver.

Jennilala

Hasn’t won since taking out this race last year by 0.5L. Recent form, including 1.85L fourth in G3 1400m on 21 February, has been sound. Rises to 1600m and could surprise.

Damask Rose

Returned with a G3 1200m placing and then ran on well after having no luck for 1.75L third over 1400m in G3. Is good enough to take this out.

Too Darn Discreet

Finished 5L seventh of 10 in G3 1400m on 14 February after a long break. Just battled to the line after racing handy. Will be much improved and has won second-up this track and distance.

Miss Aria

Ran on well in nine-horse field for 2.95L sixth in G3 1400m in February. Has one second from seven races at the track. Place chance is best recommendation.

Sea What I See

Settled off a solid pace in G3 1400m here on 14 February and loomed up to win but went down by 0.15L. Has won both times second-up and is ready to win again.

Until Valhalla

Came off a 1400m BM84 Handicap at Caulfield win to tackle G3 1400m but was under pressure from the 500m mark and then endured a horror run. Worth another chance at odds.

Miss Tarzy

Is second-up after resuming with 2.5L fifth at big odds in 1400m G3 on 14 February. Worked home okay from well back. Has won second-up and is a winner at the track.

Ahha Ahha

Has finished second at her past three starts and is ready for a change of luck and a rise in class. Settled behind the leader over 1600m here on 28 February to go down by 0.75L. Big show.

Butternut Princess

Came from well back and closed quickly to finish second, in front of Damask Rose, by 0.75L over 1400m G3 on 21 February. The rise to 1600m should suit and she creates plenty of interest at nice odds.
