Speedy sprinter resuming from a spell who won this race last year and can repeat it. He will take catching.

He fought on strongly to win his last start in a BM94 Handicap (1000m) at Randwick on 7 February. He’s one of the main chances on that effort.

Classy three-year-old who is a G2 winner this track. At his last start he finished 5.6L 8th to champion colt Tentyris in the G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) on 1 November. Major player.

Six-year-old mare who won a BM66 Handicap this track three starts ago on 31 December. At her last start she finished 1L 2nd in a BM66 Handicap (955m) at Cranbourne. This is much harder.

She usually runs well but she’s stepping up in class. At her last run she finished off nicely for 2.05L 3rd in a Cranbourne BM70 Handicap (955m) on 30 January. Tough task.

She will find this a tough assignment. At her last start she finished 4.1L 4th in a Geelong BM74 Handicap (1400m) on 3 January.

He’s a winner at Flemington but he will need to improve on his last start 1.85L 6th at Morphettville in a BM78 Handicap (1100m). Could sneak a place.

He was impressive winning over 1100m at Flemington in the Prelude to this race on 14 February and he drops 5lb in weight. Big watch.
