| 1 | Giga Kick | Won the world’s richest turf race, The Everest (1200m) in 2022 which sparked a purple patch of form. Had a few issues before bouncing back to form with G1 1200m win here in November. Handles all conditions and is excellent first-up. |
| 2 | Baraqiel | Very good 1000m horse who has won both of his first-up runs. Had a Listed and G1 victory and then a G1 second, all at Moonee Valley, at end of last campaign. Has had two jump-outs to prepare for this. Worth consideration. |
| 3 | Benedetta | Talented mare at her best but hasn’t won since G1 1200m victory in 2024. Is yet to be placed for new trainer, including last start 2.38L eighth of nine in G1 1200m at big odds in November. The last of two jump-outs on 2 February was okay. Hard here. |
| 4 | Tentyris | High quality colt who finished last campaign with G1 1200m victory at this track in November when came from near last after being held up to win by 2.25L. Has four wins, a second and a third from seven starts. The one to beat. |
| 5 | Beiwacht | G1 1400m winner who was short odds when fourth, beaten four lengths in G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) here in November when raced handy. Won a 900m trial at Randwick on 27 January. Sure to sprint well fresh. |
| 6 | Marhoona | Winner of last year’s G1 Golden Slipper (1200m) when beat home 15 runners. Then had a Listed win and G2 placing at Rosehill in October before being spelled. Goes into this fresh after two impressive trials. Is unbeaten in both first-up runs. |
| 7 | My Gladiola | Talented filly who finished second to Tentyris, beaten 2.25L, here in G1 1200m and then started favorite but raced flat next start when third in G3 1200m. Will have benefited from break and will race well fresh but place looks best. |
| 8 | Military Tycoon | Nicely bred filly who has raced five times for a win and a second. Is a G3 1000m winner here. Was also good here first-up on 10 January when second over 1100m. Has since won a 850m jump-out and is a place chance at good odds. |
