G3 – 2000m – Turf
Queen Regent | Enters the race in the midst of a strong run of form, winning twice and placing four times from her past seven starts, but must now perform in stiffer company. Place chance.
Time For Love | The most exposed galloper in the race, the six-year-old has only beaten one rival home across her past two starts. Lacks the form and class to be competitive here.
Give Me Everything | Produced an eye-catching last start sixth in a stacked G1 Paddock Stakes (1800m) at huge odds and looks well placed here. Has drawn well and will be hard to beat down in grade.
World Of Alice | Steps back from 2500m after a disappointing showing last start and has done little to impress in three runs since an October victory in lesser company. Is a place chance if she recaptures something close to her best form.
Strawberry Thief | Finished fifth in similar company last time out and would need to find improvement to be a true threat here after 11 starts. Does race at 2000m for the first time and has won 1800m here.
Lavender Bay | Steps back in trip after a strong last-start third over 2500m at Kenilworth and rarely runs a bad race. The 2000m looks more her go and she can figure prominently here.
Swiatek | Beat home a string of this weekend’s opponents when running third over the Kenilworth 1800m in December and should enjoy the step up in distance. Leading chance.
Little Suzie | Finished well back in the G1 Paddock Stakes (1800m) on 10 January but does have prior form around some of these and is not to be discounted. Place chance.
Beneath The Clouds | Has proven to be a consistent galloper with two wins and five placings from her past 10 starts but must now show she can produce against better opposition. Prefer others.
