| 2 | World Of Alice | Her only win in 2025 came over 1450m at Vaal however she did produce a nice second over 2450m in March’s G2 SA Oaks. Boasts strong overall record and can figure. |
| 3 | George Handel | Comes off a busy 2025 campaign that saw him race 21 times for three wins. Recent form has been solid without being spectacular and he’ll likely start an outsider. |
| 4 | Holding Thumbs | Finished second in this contest when fancied last year and looks well placed to go one better here. Enters the race off a last-start course-and-distance success and is showing no signs of slowing down. |
| 5 | Triple Time | Was a nice third in that Holding Thumbs race last start and should be boosted by the booking of Oisin Murphy. Hasn’t won since 2023, however, and will need it all to go his way. |
| 6 | Magic Verse | A winner three starts back after a run of placings, the five-year-old has run behind some decent horses in his past two starts and looks to have some chance of figuring. |
| 7 | Master Of Paris | Is racing in arguably career-best form after two wins and two seconds from his past four starts. Prevailed over the Kenilworth 2200m last start and will be right in the market. |
| 8 | Ahead Of The Facts | Was a close second behind likely race favourite Holding Thumbs last start after winning at this course and distance in November. Rarely runs a bad race and is one of the leading chances. |
