G2 – 1800m – Turf

Native Ruler Saluted over a mile race two starts back at Kenilworth to score his second career win. Ran well when ninth behind G1 winner Dave The King last start and looks among the top chances.
Regulation Chases a hat-trick of victories after consecutive wins over the course and distance and rarely runs a bad race. Dug deep to post a maiden Grade success last start and can improve again.
Zeitz Was a solid third behind the reopposing Regulation at the course and distance last start and looks poised to be competitive. The addition of blinkers should help as he hunts a first success under Keagan de Melo.
Legend Of Arthur Hasn’t tasted success since March last year and races at Kenilworth for the first time. Was only moderate when eighth of 20 runners at Turffontein last start and must lug top weight of 132lb.
La Pulga Posted two wins and a second from five starts over this course and distance in 2025. Also reopposes Regulation after last start on 13 December, finishing 4.95L back in fourth, but will need to improve to figure here.
Master Redoute Seven-year-old has raced sparingly since winning the G3 World Pool Gold Cup (3200m) in July 2024, showing little in three starts last year. Steps back in trip after a distant sixth over the Kenilworth 2500m last start.
Okavango Has form running through one of the race’s leading hopes in Native Ruler, running third behind that galloper over 1600m at Kenilworth on 2 November. Ran ninth in the G1 Durban July (2200m) at Greyville.
I Salute You A smart winner over the Greyville mile three starts back, the four-year-old was solid on Kenilworth debut when fourth last month. Will need to improve to be competitive in this class but has only missed a top-four finish four times from 14 starts, winning five times.
The Equator Has delivered three times from 11 career starts, including twice in his past four runs. Comes off a solid last-start second and can do enough to be competitive here.
Major Master Like Zeitz and La Pulga, he boasts form through potential race favourite Regulation after running a 0.2L second behind that galloper last start. Is among the leading chances and a win would not surprise.
