Jockey Y L Chung has lodged a notice of appeal against the decision of the Racing Stewards to impose the following penalties for two charges of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] when he rode STAR SATYR in Race 9 at the Sha Tin race meeting held on 7 December 2025:

Suspended from riding in races to commence on Wednesday 21 January 2026 and to expire on Monday 26 January 2026 (2 Hong Kong race days)

Jockey Chung is appealing against the decision of the Racing Stewards and the severity of the penalties.
