Pool arrangements related to Race 8

Following an incident in Race 8 at Sha Tin Racecourse on 15 November, 2025 (Saturday), it was decided to declare the race void for safety reasons.

According to the Horse Race Betting Rules, the following pool arrangements have been made:

Races 7 to 8

7th Double
  • Dividend will be paid for the 1st leg winner.
  • No consolation dividend will be declared

Races 8 to 9

8th Double
  • Dividend will be paid for the 2nd leg winner.
  • No consolation dividend will be declared

Races 8, 9, 10

2nd Treble
  • Dividend will be paid for the 2nd and 3rd leg winner.
  • No consolation dividend will be declared

Races 7 to 8

4th Double Trio
  • Dividend will be paid for the 1st leg winner.

Races 5 to 10

Six Up

  • Dividend will be paid for tickets bearing winning selections of other 5 legs
  • No Six Win Bonus dividend will be declared. 

Jockey Challenge/Trainer Challenge

 
  • All bets on Jockey Challenge/Trainer Challenge will stand and be unaffected. Void Race will not be counted.

All Up dividends of various pools will be paid for tickets bearing winning selections of the previous legs.

 

Cash betting
All cash bets will be refunded on presentation of tickets at any Off-course Betting Branches (OCBBs) or at the racecourses during opening hours within 60 days from 15 November, 2025.

Betting via Telebet and Digital Channels
All bets placed through Telebet and Digital Channels will be refunded directly to the respective betting accounts.
