Following an incident in Race 8 at Sha Tin Racecourse today (Saturday, 15 November), it was decided due to safety reasons to declare the race void.

At the 1200m starting point, Jockey Matthew Poon was dislodged from Dreaming Winner.  Dreaming Winner then galloped riderless towards the Home Straight in the opposite direction to the field, prompting the Racing Stewards to abandon the race when the field was near the 500 Metres.

Both Matthew Poon and Dreaming Winner were unharmed during the incident.
